KENNETT, Mo. — Vernon Joseph Schremmer of Kennett, Mo. was born on July 2, 1956 in Hoisington, Kan. to Wilfred and Cecilia (Ille) Schremmer. He passed away on Feb. 9, 2026 in Kennett, Mo. at the age of 69.

He had been employed with Nucor Steel and retired from there. 

He was united in marriage to Patricia Thompson Schremmer.

He was preceded in death by his parents and on newborn sister, Helen Jean Schremmer. Survivors include his wife Patricia Schremmer of Holland, Mo.; two daughters Latisha Williams and husband Jeremy of Kennett, Mo. and Stephanie Schremmer of Kennett, Mo.; three sisters, Lou Ann Gray and husband Ernie of Wichita, Kan., Marita Elliot and husband Charles of Ellinwood and Sandy Maneth and husband John of Great Bend, Kan.; two grandchildren, Lexi and Abby Williams; and many other relatives and friends.
