Vicki Sue Hinds, 61, passed away Dec. 25, 2023, at Stafford County Hospital, Stafford, Kan. She was born on July 4, 1962, in Ft. Carson, Colo., to Doral and Melva (Harrod) Julian. On Jan. 4, 2013, she married Russell Hinds in Claflin, Kan.

A resident of Claflin, Vicki spent most of her working life as a caretaker, along with previously working at Fuller Brush and Venture Corporation. She was a member of the Zenith Community Church. Vicki loved animals, gardening, being at the lake, and spending time with friends and family.

Survivors include her husband of the home; four brothers, Tim Julian and wife, Donna of Dighton, Tony Julian of Stafford, Gary Julian and wife, Amy of Stafford, and Andrew Julian and wife, Jennifer of Geneseo; sister, Pamela Larson of Spearfish, South Dakota; and good friend, Ramona Schwartz of Ellinwood. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Allen Ray Julian and Kenneth Harrod; and sister, Anita Volker.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 9:50 a.m. Friday, Dec. 29, 2023, at Bryant Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, Dec. 29, 2023, at Bryant Funeral Home, with Pastor Daniel Vandenburg presiding. Interment will follow at Pawnee Rock Cemetery. Memorials have been designated to the Golden Belt Humane Society or American Cancer Society, in care of Bryant Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent and notice viewed at www.bryantfh.net.
