AUGUSTA — Victor L. Shumate, 64, died on March 12, at Kansas Medical Center in Andover. Born Jan. 4, 1951, in El Dorado, he was the son of Paul Bennett and Isa Lou (Gale) Shumate. He was a graduate of El Dorado High School and Butler County Community College.
