SARASOTA, Fla. — Virginia Marie (Haberman) Peters, 75, died Nov. 13, in Sarasota, Fla. Born March 12, 1939, in rural Hoisington, she was the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Koester) Haberman. In 1958, she married Tony Vanaman and later married Pete Peters.
Survivors include daughter Penny White and son Jeff Vanaman, of  Sarasota, Fla.; mother Mary Haberman of Great Bend; three brothers, William Haberman of Huston Texas, and Robert and Joseph Haberman, both of Great Bend; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter Tammy Boyd; father Joseph Haberman; brother Bernard Haberman; and sister Delores Ryan.
Cremation has occurred and burial will take place at a later date.
