LARNED — Waneta I. Mausolf, 84, died April 22, 2017, at Country Living of Larned Memory Care. Born May 15, 1932, in Ellinwood, she was the daughter of Nic and Emma (Panning) Suhler. On Dec. 18, 1951, she married Herman Mausolf at Ellinwood. He died July 7, 2014. A resident of Larned since 1969, moving from Albert, she was a secretary at Larned State Hospital.
Mrs. Mausolf was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church and the Quilting Bees, both in Larned.
Survivors include three daughters, Cheryl Rasmussen of Jetmore, Linda Mausolf of Larned, and Amy Kemp of Panhandle, Texas; a sister Eloise Winkelman of Lawrence; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son Craig Mausolf; a brother Robert Suhler; and a grandson Jeremy Rasmussen.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday at Beckwith Mortuary in Larned with Minister Gary Bennett presiding. Burial will be in Larned Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today and Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be sent to the Alzheimer’s Association in care of the mortuary.
