LARNED — Wayne Harold Hagerman, 74, passed away Aug. 6, 2022 in Larned, Kan.
He was born May 17, 1948 at Great Bend, Kan., the son of Harold E. and Julia E. Brady Hagerman. A lifetime area resident, he was a farmer/stockman and served as State Representative 114th District for a two-year term.
He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, Albert, Santa Fe Trail Center, Fort Larned Old Guard, Kansas Wheat Commission, and was a lifetime Kansas State Alumni and Veteran.
On May 2, 1981 he married Brenda West at Peace Lutheran Church, Albert, Kan. She survives. Other survivors include brother, Charles (Chris) Hagerman, Larned; sister, Margaret Ann Spreier, Larned; six nephews, Lance Hagerman, Jeff Spreier, Tim Spreier, Brandon Holloway, Bryce Craig, Joshua Riedel; and two nieces, Brianna Miller, Kayli Greer. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Bill Spreier.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 11, 2022 at Larned Cemetery, Larned, Kan., with Pastor David Spare presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2022 at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Santa Fe Trail Center or Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in care of Beckwith Mortuary, Box 477 Larned, KS 67550.
