LYONS — Wesson Ray Link, 2 months, died Feb. 28, 2017, at Rice County District Hospital in Lyons. Born Dec. 12, 2016, at Kansas City, Mo., he was the son Gavan R. and Leslie A. Steffan Link.
Wesson was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Lyons.
Survivors include his parents, Gavan R. and Leslie A. Link; a brother, Barrett Link, of the home; grandparents, Jim and Cindy Steffan of Lyons, and Howard and Jeanine Link of Chase; aunts and uncles, Nicole and Sos Samuelson of Salina, Tara Link, Jessica and Tony Andrews and Melissa and Tyler Carlson, all of Lyons; and seven cousins, Christian and Adison Miller, Jett and Kyiah Samuelson, Kolt and Kinzie Andrews, and Wade Carlson. He was preceded in death by great-grandparents, Frances and Eugene Link, Betty and Virgil Wood, Harold and Louise Steffan, and Buddy and Dora Holliday.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 3, at Birzer Funeral Home in Lyons with Father Terrance Klein officiating. Burial will be at the Lyons Municipal Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City or Wesson Link Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
