HOISINGTON — Willa Mae Gilkey, 61, died December 11, 2020, at Clara Barton Hospital. She was born June 28, 1959, in Wichita, Kansas, the daughter of Harvie Vernon and Atha Mae (Simpson) Gilkey.

A resident of Hoisington moving from Wichita, Willa was a truck driver.

She is survived by four children; John V. Howard of Potwin, Michael A. Howard of Wichita, Loretta M. Howard of Hoisington, and Stephanie L. Howard of Wichita; a sister, Arnetta Crawford of Wichita; nine grandchildren, Michael Jr., Rhiannon, Amanti, Tamari, Lunjai, Z’Kara, Ruby, Bruce, and Oliver.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and three sisters, Verna Jean Gilkey, Izora S. Gilkey-Dixon, and Carolyn L. Gilkey.
