To the editor:
Taxes. A necessary evil to pay for government. But what about the unnecessary waste?
How many of the homes on the tax sale could have been saved with the $117,000 That the school spent on new vehicles. How many could be saved with the thousands of dollars that was spent on fancy buses to play with.
How many of your neighbors and friends are going to lose their homes to pay for unnecessary waste. People have worked their entire lives to have a place to retire and live a decent life. They are being taxed out of their homes and put in subsidized housing that is costing more than it would cost to leave them in their homes.
People are being forced to make a choice of paying taxes or paying for medication that they need to stay alive. I ask you, how many of these school officials are losing their homes to pay for the waste created by them? How many politicians are losing their homes to pay for the waste created by them? How many politicians and school administrators retire in poverty? It is a shameful disgrace and needs to be stopped.
You and only you, the voters, can stop this insanity. Just a thought from an uneducated redneck that has had enough.
