Dear Editor,
The Public Forum respondent in the Oct. 4 Tribune — “Kilby statue is an affront to heritage” — doesn’t deserve much acknowledgement; but, to paraphrase the historian, prairie poet, Carl Sandburg, “he is full of beans and prunes.”
The Jack Kilby memorial statue will make our courthouse square one of the great name-places in the state of Kansas.
