Dear Editor,
Bike Brew Q 16 was this Saturday. It was a beautiful day for cycling, craft beer, eating delicious food and most importantly raising awareness and money to help out the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF). There were 50+ cyclists participating in the morning rides, seven craft breweries from Kansas and Missouri pouring during the expo and around 125 people enjoying their beers. We want to thank all of our sponsors and everyone in the community that helped make this event possible. Between money raised at the event, sponsor donations, in-kind donations and individual contributions we were able to raise over $10,000 for the CFF!
Events like this take a ton of preparation and organization and would not be possible without others stepping up to help out. This year was a success, but we aren’t satisfied with that. Our vision is to grow Bike Brew Q into one of the keystone events for this area so that we continue to raise awareness and funds for the CFF and at the same time, create an amazing experience for our guests. So, if you had a great time at Bike Brew Q 16 spread the word and get ready for 17!
