Dear Editor,
On behalf of Jefferson Elementary PTO, I would like to thank all of the people who supported our Box Tops for Education program during the 2012-2013 school year. The students and their families, the teachers, and the community responded in a very generous way. Many Box Tops were clipped and turned in to the school. Each Box Top is worth 10 cents to Jefferson PTO. That may not sound like much, but when added together these dimes amounted to a nice fundraiser! Last school year the funds raised from Box Tops helped to purchase supplies, t-shirts and yearbooks for the students. The best part is that it did not cost anyone any money. All contributors had to do was to clip a label! How easy!
Box Tops for Education labels are found on many items you already buy. I have noticed in the stores there are currently many bonus labels on food items. Please do not let this money go to waste. We would really appreciate it if you would clip the Box Top label and save them for us.
Local residents who would like to support Jefferson Elementary may drop-off Box Tops at the school office. Clipped Box Tops may also be sent to Jefferson Elementary, 2716 24th Street, Great Bend, KS 67530. Online shoppers can support Jefferson Elementary year-round through Box Tops Marketplace by signing up at btfe.com and registering Jefferson Elementary as the school you would like to support.
Many of the area schools also collect Box Tops for Education. Please save your Box Tops for one of them! All of your contributions are greatly appreciated by the schools!
Thank you for your support!
