Dear Editor,
What the he-- is the big rush on getting rid of our Chief Couch?? He is being railroaded because of telling the truth! He has been doing such a good job. Do the council members remember saying that they brought him to town to clean up the drugs? Well I do. I have been at several meeting where the council and mayor gave him nothing but praise for doing a good job.
He works great with the people and with Sheriff Bellendir. They have had more busts working together than the people have seen in a long time. Chief Couch stepped on the wrong toes and now they want to fire him.
I want to thank Dana Dawson, Brock McPherson and Cory Zimmerman for voting their own minds and not being “yes men” to the mayor and Partington. I have been attending council meetings since 2006 and I certainly agree with “concerned citizen says” on another media network because I believe talking outside of official meetings is going on and they have their minds made up before they come to the official meeting and in this case before the investigation is complete. Once again, what is the big rush???
Of course Dana, the mayor would say “No” to you wanting to bring it to a regular council meeting because they would have to open up the convention center to hold the crowd in support for Chief Couch!
I really think the only way to solve this matter is to hook Chief Couch, Mayor Allison and Howard Partington up to lie detector tests and then we would see who is really telling the truth! City council do your d--- job for once! This is not right what you are doing! You work for us the people!!!
Chief Couch you have to file for the hearing by 4:30 to the city clerk on July 28. We the people need you! But of course you did see that they have within two weeks to set the hearing and unfortunately that probably means Saturday, July 29 and they will make their ruling shortly after the hearing, meaning the same night because once again the mayor already has five council members in his pocket. God help them if any of them change their mind! And Mike Boys, I am ashamed of you. You are the last person that I thought would want to “screw” over our Chief Couch. Once again, what is the rush??? Other than not wanting to hear from the people that elected this mayor and council!!
Make sure all of you are registered to vote!
