Christmas visit to Great Bend was great

Dear Editor,
We have just returned from a visit to your city and our group (ACAP) Air Capital Active People were very impressed by all the attractions that we visited.
We spent Wednesday on the campus of Barton County Community College and were thrilled by the Christmas trees and quilts in the Shafer Gallery. The stain glass windows in the chapel were beautiful.
We enjoyed a show at the planetarium.
We then had a wonderful visit and meal at the Barton County Historical Society. The food was delicious and the museum is one of the best. Thursday morning found us enjoying the 25 Santas that are so unique and one of a kind.
There were 43 senior citizens on our trip and everyone was anxious to come back next spring. Your town has a lot to offer tourists.
