We look forward to meeting our neighbors while they attend the Democratic Presidential Caucus on March 5, at the Activity Center in northeast Hoisington. One can register the same day at 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. and caucus at 3:30 p.m.
The Caucus is only the beginning in the selection of the persons who will lead our country. Everyone needs to get involved in the political process and votes do count. The more individuals that vote gives the power back to the people to have more say in things that affect their lives.
If you are sick and tired of high sales taxes, property taxes, schools being robbed of adequate funds, the integrity of our teachers being attacked, our judges being threatened with control by the governor, the small hospitals in danger of closing.....one can go on and on with what is wrong in our State. If any of these things affect you as a Kansan then it is time to get involved in the political process and try to change things.
We hope to see many of you in Hoisington on March 5th.
Come early and join the fun!
Brock McPherson, Chairman
Barton County Democrats
