Dear Editor,
What does it take to make someone “qualified” to serve on USD #428’s Board of Education? I have always believed that “All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten.” When I first met Susan Young we were both kindergarten teachers in Great Bend!
I feel Susan has learned those lessons of fairness, sharing, living a balanced life, showing responsibility and I have watched her exhibit those traits.  She fully invests herself in all her endeavors. In the church we both attend she has taught Sunday School and Bible School. Currently she serves on our Noah’s Ark Pre-School Board and is a frequent liturgist in Sunday worship. In our P.E.O chapter she has been an officer and is currently our membership chairman.
Susan is a person of integrity who knows how to work well with others. Because she is a good listener, thoughtful when speaking and committed to her choice of undertakings, I feel she would be an excellent addition to our school board. Please join me in supporting our children, teachers, and administration by electing Susan Young to serve on USD #428’s Board of Education.
