At the request of several political candidates, Sunflower Electric Power Corporation recently sent letters to Kansas newspapers publicly thanking individuals for past support of Sunflower and the Holcomb Expansion Project.
Over the last three legislative sessions Sunflower routinely expressed thanks to those legislators that voted to support legislation that would advance this project.
The letter should not be interpreted as an endorsement of any single candidate.
The letters were made public at the request of political candidates to communicate a candidates support of Sunflower and this project.
Sunflower appreciates the continued support of Kansas leaders who made it possible to resume the permitting process of this state-of-the-art base load unit.
