Dear Editor,
If you have not been to a high school football game this year, you have really missed out on some good football. The Great Bend/Garden City game was one of the best games I have seen in some time and I have been attending here, rain or shine, in the same reserved seat, for over 40 years. Most of the time the Panthers were considerably out-weighed by the defense, yet they found ways to either get through the line or make a pass to move the ball and score. The same with our defense, they have thrilled us with their interceptions and terrific tackles. I personally want to thank all of the players for their hard work and effort. Also, our coach and his staff for the hours they put in and their great job of coaching. Well done everyone!
