Dear Editor,
I read in the paper that the Kansas Wildlife & Parks is going to start charging people over 65 for a hunting and fishing license.
Social Security received a cost of living increase the year, but since the cost of health insurance was raised, it cancels out any additional income.
I bought a trout stamp and a deer stamp last year, but with the extra expense I will be unable to do that any more.
I wonder how many people over 65 will be unable to continue hunting and fishing because of the additional expense.
If anyone else feels the same way, call Robin Jennison at 785-296-2282 to give your opinion.
