Dear Editor:
On Friday, June 8 many people gathered to celebrate, remember, and fight back for the Barton County Relay for Life at Jack Kilby Square. The Jefferson Jets Cure for Life Team was one of many groups that contributed to the cause through different fundraisers throughout the last year. During the evening, kind participants gave donations towards a Jefferson Quilt and four gift bags. The winners of the drawings were Debbie Daniel, Survival Bag; Lisa Skolaut, Car Magic; Shirley Endsley, Snack Attack; Patty Halseth, Extreme Fishing; and Dan Curtis, quilt. We appreciate everyone who supported our team during the last year. If you have never been involved in the relay, please consider doing it next year. Everyone working together can make a difference in finding a cure!
