Dear Editor,
Life in the country is a good thing and can be a sad experience.
We were in ground zero of the Hoisington tornado and moved outside of town. I had a kitty who passed on who gave birth about one month ago and left some kittens. Unfortunately a neighboring Pit Bull came in the yard and killed her and I understand he has killed other cats. My heart aches for her and I hope her kittens will survive. It’s the only link I have to Cricket. I bonded during her formative years. We had a special relationship.
