Dear Editor,
The 125 year city of Pawnee Rock celeration date has been changed to Memorial Day, May 28. 
It is a time honored tradition for people to return to Pawnee Rock Cemetary to put flowers on the graves of passed family, friends, and neighbors.  Because of the large number of people traveling to do this, Pawnee Rock City Council has decided to change the date from the true date of the city charter, May 2, to May 28 to accomodate many who would like to attend.
Many local businesses and people are stepping up to the plate to be involved and supporting the days activities; if you would like to be involved, please contact me at lindamc50@hotmail.com.
