Schartz is tried and true

Dear Editor,
Tried and true.
What better way to describe the advantage of voting for Jennifer Schartz on August 5, to continue her service as the Barton County Commissioner for the 5th district.
Because she is currently serving as a County Commissioner, there will be no “learning curve” for her to get up to speed, when she is once again sworn into office.
As they say, Jennifer comes from good stock. Both of her parents were hard-working citizens in our community for many years. Some years ago, perhaps you  had the pleasure of encountering Duane Potter at his service station on Washington Street or in later years at the bank; or Rosie, who greeted folks at the downtown Great Bend Petroleum Club dining room with a cheerful smile. They taught their children to have respect for others and for their community. Jennifer’s public service attests to that fact.
She is knowledgeable and up to date on all issues currently facing Barton County. Should you wish to discuss an issue with her, give her a call at 620-639-2395.
And if you agree, please support her by marking your ballot for Jennifer Schartz on Tuesday Aug. 5.
