Soup supper was a success
Placeholder Image

Dear Editor,
This past Monday, the Barton County Association of Churches held their annual chicken noodle soup supper at the 1st Assembly of God Church on Patton Road.
This year Joyce Haberman chaired the event. Joyce, her husband John, Leroy Hensley, and Craig Haneke worked diligently from 9 a.m. until clean up after 8 p.m.
However, 27 volunteers joined them throughout the day; as well as preparation work that was done prior to the event.
Thank you to all volunteers on Monday, and all volunteers who provided pies, bread and roasters of chicken noodle soup.
All money collected will go to help individuals in need through Barton County Emergency Aid Association.
Funds will be matched by Thrivent Financial Services.
Thank you to all who supported this event, either with your presence, product or work.  And---thank you to. It
The event wouldn’t have been possible without Joyce’s leadership!
