Dear Editor,
One of the most important things a child can do to achieve academic success in school is to go to school every day. In fact, research has shown that a child’s attendance record may be the biggest factor influencing academic success. We would like to thank some generous patrons for donating 10 bicycles to our schools to award students with Perfect Attendance. We would like to thank Jane Isern, Gail Carpenter, Rick and Lois Ball, Dale and Karen Shaner, Maureen Leahy, and one private donor. We truly appreciate your value of education and your generous support for promoting Perfect Attendance in our schools. The staff and students of our schools are very thankful.
