Dear Editor,
I want to thank Ms. Veronica Coons for the stories of Great Bend’s past. Today’s story about “The calm before the storm...” was very interesting. I personally have some ancestors who came from Germany, so this story was interesting for me to read. All the stories Ms. Coons has researched and written have been outstanding. I want to thank the Tribune for allowing her to spend the time to research for these articles. Please keep up the good work Ms.Coons. I look forward to more of your articles in the future.
