Dear Editor,
As a Barton County resident I want a sheriff that is the best qualified for the job. I want a sheriff that is honest and is straight forward. I want a sheriff that is willing and knows how to use grant money opposed to always relying on tax dollars. I want a sheriff that will have an open door all the time, not just when the election rolls around. I want a sheriff that has experience in all the operations in the sheriff office, not just another person putting in their time. I am confident that Richard Unrein fits all these criteria. I have known Richard Unrein for 12 years, and no doubt in my mind will be a great Sheriff. Barton County voters, if you feel that these are qualities you want in a sheriff, then vote Richard Unrein August 7th.
