Last Friday evening those of us attending the Great Bend High School football game saw an outstanding show of good sportsmanship. Great Bend was leading 31-7. Great Bend intercepted a pass with about three minutes remaining in the game. Great Bend head coach, Erin Beck,  instructed his quarterback to just take a knee for four straight possessions, not  attempting to score again. Coach Beck showed great sportsmanship not trying to run up the score more. In a time when  sportsmanship seems to be lacking at all levels of football, I was so proud of Great Bend coach Erin Beck.
