Dear editor,

An office reception on December 19, 2018, honored Pam Tucker for 40 years of continuous employment with the Barton County Conservation District.

Several words come to mind when considering her four-decade career: loyalty, duty, dedication, dependability. She mixed friendliness along with those virtues to admirably present a professional, welcoming face to visitors to the office.

She served the citizens of Barton County with distinction and I wish her good health, happiness, and prosperity going forward.
