Most polls in the Jayhawk Conference reflect the previous season. The recently released volleyball poll is no different for the Barton Community College team and the rest of the Jayhawk West.

The Cougars have been picked to finish 7th by the coaches in the conference for the upcoming season. It is the same place Barton finished the season a year ago.

In fact much of the conference in predicted to finish in the about the same place as a year ago.

Defending champion Hutchinson is the coaches’ pick to win the conference again followed by Colby. Hutchinson returns nearly the entire starting lineup from that team.

Seward County is the third pick and Cloud County is tabbed fourth. Butler is selected to improve a spot and finish fifth while Pratt is predicted to finish sixth.

Dodge City and Garden City are below the Cougars in the predicted order of finish for 2015.
