The lone woman from the Barton Community College basketball team to make an All-Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference team this season was Dionne Harris.
Harris, a 5-foot-11 sophomore, was an honorable mention all-conference selection.
Harris averaged in double figures during both of her years at Barton, scoring 10.6 points per game in the 2010-2011 season and 13.1 points per game during her sophomore campaign.
This year, she led the Lady Cougars in scoring and rebounds with 216 total for 7.2 per game.
Harris, a Philadelphia, Pa., native, was named KJCCC and NJCAA Division-I player of the week during the first week of December.
During that week, Harris recorded a double-double in a 67-62 loss to Crowder. She scored 15 points and grabbed 13 rebounds. She also had six steals in the game.
Harris scored 12 points and snagged eight rebounds in a 50-47 victory over For Scott.
She wrapped up her week with a second double-double, scoring 23 points and pulling in 11 rebounds in a 63-61 win over then No. 3-ranked Independence.
