Barton Community College's Vera Ojenuwa dominated with 28 points and 23  rebounds (fifth-most in history) as the Cougars gained revenge against Pratt Community College 80-49 in Saturday's Jayhawk Conference basketball game. 

Ojenuwa earned her 10th statistical double/double. Quezia Bertoni contributed a double/double with 14 points and 11 assists. Tatum Boettjer scored 14 points with four 3-pointers and four assists. Grace John contributed eight points and six rebounds . Vivian Onugha scored five points with seven rebounds.

McKenna Vogl scored seven points with five rebounds to spark a plus-34 point differential in the paint and a plus-24 rebounding edge.

Hoisington's Macy Hanzlick contributed 10 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, two blocks and two steals to spark Pratt.

The Cougars led 38-27 at halftime. The Cougars put the Beavers in the taillights in the third quarter by stretching the lead to 33 points.

Dropping the first of the two season meetings back on November 18 in Pratt, Barton held the Beavers to no more than 14 points each quarter, 50 points less than the previous meeting, and twenty-two points below one of the region's highest scoring team's average.

Victors of three straight and receiving votes in the latest national poll, Barton improves to 10-4 for fourth place in conference play and 15-5 overall while Pratt falls to 3-11 in league and 8-11 on the season.

The Cougars (15-5, 10-4) play Cloud County (8-6, 12-7) Wednesday.

Princess Anderson led the Beavers in scoring with 15 points on 6-of-17 shooting, ten points below the region leader's average on the season. Isis Sanders added 11 points with Hoisington native Macy Hanzlick putting up 10 points and 10 rebounds for her 3rd double-double of the year.

Barton shot 45.7% on the evening, 6-of-19 from beyond the arc while holding Pratt to just 25.7% shooting and 7-of-32 (21.9%) from long distance in a far cry from their previous meeting's 50% from the field including 17-of-39 three-pointers.
