WICHITA — Former Kansas State quarterback Michael Bishop and former Kansas basketball star Bud Stallworth are among the nine members of the 2012 class of the Kansas Sports Hall of Fame.

Bishop was the runner-up for the Heisman Trophy in 1998, setting several school records along the way. Stallworth was the Big Eight player of the year in 1972.

Budke is originally from Salina and played basketball at Washburn.

Other members of the class include former Kansas quarterback David Jaynes and basketball player Wayne Simien; Kansas State basketball player Willie Murrell; Olympian Harold Manning; longtime tennis coach David Snyder and softball player Brenda Stolle.
