MANHATTAN — For the first time in program history, all available public football season tickets have been sold as department officials announced Monday that Kansas State football fans have stepped up in record fashion for the Wildcats’ 2013 eight-game home schedule.

Following a Big 12 Championship season in 2012, which included a No. 1 BCS national ranking and a berth in the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl, excitement is building towards the 2013 campaign as the department also announced that the Aug. 30 season opener against North Dakota State and the Nov. 2 matchup with Iowa State are sold out based on existing pre-orders from season ticket holders. Some requests may not be filled, and the ticket office will assign seats in priority point order after season ticket assignments are completed.

Public season sales for 2013 are up by 2,100 tickets vs. 2012 and have reached an all-time high. The K-State Athletics Ticket Office will continue to work throughout the week on seat assignments for fans who have already ordered season tickets. Student passes are also running ahead of last year’s same-date figure and remain on sale through iSIS. Also, fans can call the ticket office or go online to be placed on the 2014 football season ticket waitlist.

“The momentum of our football program, in addition to all 16 of our athletics teams, has created an unprecedented level of excitement as we prepare for the 2013-14 year,” Kansas State athletics director John Currie said. “We appreciate the support of our grass-roots fans who help provide our student-athletes a world-class experience by filling Bill Snyder Family Stadium each week and look forward to opening the West Stadium Center and seeing the stands packed with purple this fall.”

Fans still have the opportunity to secure a seat in Bill Snyder Family Stadium on a game-by-game basis as single game tickets for the other six home games will go on sale Wednesday in an exclusive online sale only at www.k-statesports.com. Fans are encouraged to act fast as department officials also announced that the following number of tickets remain for each home game:

North Dakota State: SOLD OUT

Louisiana: Approximately 800 tickets available

UMass:  Approximately 1,300 tickets available

Baylor: Approximately 2,400 tickets available

West Virginia: Approximately 1,200 tickets available

Iowa State: SOLD OUT

Texas Christian: Approximately 2,300 tickets available

Oklahoma: Approximately 1,300 tickets available

Fans can begin purchasing tickets in person or via telephone through the K-State Athletics Ticket Office at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, June 10.
The 2013 season opener will be a special night as K-State opens the new West Stadium Center at Bill Snyder Family Stadium in front of a national television audience.

The Wildcats and Bison will kick off the year at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 30, with the fifth-annual K-State Family Reunion which will be televised nationally by FOX Sports 1.
The Wildcats' 2013 full home slate will feature five Big 12 Conference games, including matchups with Oklahoma and Baylor and the first trips to Manhattan for West Virginia and Texas Christian.
Several single-game promotions are back again in 2013 that will continue to provide fans even more flexibility. Premium bench seating ranges from $40 to $85, while bench seating ranges from $30 to $75. Discounted military tickets start at just $15 for select games. If tickets are available, group ticket rates will not be available until June 10. Fans interested in purchasing 20 or more tickets are encouraged to purchase public tickets online when single-game tickets are available June 5.
Wildcat 4 Packs are available for just $75 to the Louisiana and UMass contests, $99 for the West Virginia (October 1 deadline) game and $125 for the Baylor (September 1 deadline) and TCU (November 1 deadline) games, while supplies last.
Fans can combine games with a combo package option for just $90 which features the Baylor game, the choice between Louisiana or UMass, and the choice between West Virginia or TCU.
Fan-favorite promotional dates have also been set, including Band Day on Sept. 14 vs. UMass; Harley Day on Oct. 12 vs. Baylor; Fort Riley Day on Nov. 2 against Iowa State and Fan Appreciation Day on Nov. 16 vs. TCU.  Fans should also mark their calendars for the Big 12 Championship Celebration at the home opener August 30 and the K-State Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2013 at the Oct. 12 Baylor game.
The annual homecoming game is scheduled for Oct. 26 as the Wildcats host West Virginia in what will also be the close of K-State's 150th Celebration. Alumni Association members can purchase tickets for the match-up for only $20, a savings of $35, before the September 1 deadline or while supplies last.
Visiting teams will have an opportunity to return unused tickets approximately one month prior to each game, while the K-State Ticket Office may release standing room or general admission tickets in the fall based on student pass sales and anticipated attendance.  Fans should subscribe to the email alert list at kstatesports.com to be notified if those tickets become available.
