The No. 1 Hutchinson Community College women continued a perfect season with a 57-39 Jayhawk Conference basketball victory over Barton Community College Saturday.

The Blue Dragons outscored the Cougars 32-12 in the second and third quarters. Barton led by 10 points, before converting 5 of 31 shots in the second and third quarters.

Hutchinson (29-0, 23-0 Jayhawk) has clinched the Jayhawk Conference title and a berth in the 2024 NJCAA Tournament at Casper, Wyo. The Cougars (20-9, 15-8 Jayhawk) secure a top four seed in the Region 6 Tournament.

Barton's Vivian Onugha contributed 11 points and 13 rebounds for her 13th double/double. Quezia Bertoni scored 10 points and Grace John contributed eight points with six assists.

Hutchinson's Kiki Smith (14) and Monae Duffy (11) scored in double figures.

The Cougars converted 17 of 57 field goals (30%), 2 of 20 from 3-point range (10%). The Dragons made 21 of 56 shots 11 of 28 from 3-point range.

NOTES—Hutchinson snaps a 3-game losing streak at Barton. Barton leads the series 31-19 at home, 57-46 overall.
