CHANUTE -- Great Bend graduate Chayse Gruber (8-3, 2.72) has sparked Neosho County's pitching staff heading to Region 6 postseason play. Gruber has 57 strikeouts in 76 innings. 

Neosho (31-22) starts the Region 6 tournament at Butler County (30-25) Thursday. Gruber owned a 2-0 record in 2023.
