HOISINGTON BOYS — Josiah Ball was a triple qualifier in the pole vault (14-0), the 110-meter hurdles (15.05) with a season-best time and the 300-meter hurdles (41.2). Kamden Tarlton qualified in the 1,600 (4:43.43) and 3,200 (10:27.62) with season-best times.
The Cardinals qualified in the 400-meter relay (44.38) with Mason Alderdice, Kyler Czarnek, Jacon Robinson and Ball; 3,200-meter relay (8:27.92) with Elijah Lewis, Tarlton, Karter Wolf and Deryk Yott. Caiden Hoffman qualified in the shot put (47-513/4).
LARNED GIRLS — Larned's Kaylee Hagerman was a 4-event qualifier in the long jump (16-10), triple jump (34-41/4), 200 (26.41) with a season-best time; and with the 400-meter relay (51.18) with Teagan Walker, Jayme Hagerman and Alexa Beltz.
The 1,600-meter relay (4:15.01) qualified with Herbert, Akielah Collins, Jayme Hagerman and Walker. Jayme Hagerman qualified in the triple jump (35-4). Cadee Upson qualified in the shot put (37-01/2).
HOISINGTON GIRLS — Defending state champion Shellamae Farmer won the pole vault (11-0).
Individual qualifiers are Mallory Mooney, triple jump (35-7); Kynlie Crowdis, 800 (2:28.61); and Cara Herbert, 100-meter hurdles (16.31).
The Cardinals qualified for state in the 400-meter relay (51.65) with Farmer, Kylee Hahn, Kelsi Maier and Mooney.
