CENTRAL PLAINS GIRLS 98, MACKSVILLE 25

CLAFLIN – Central Plains all-stater Emily Ryan enjoyed her finest statistical game with 41 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists as the Oilers roared past Macksville 98-25 in Friday’s Central Prairie League basketball game.

The Oilers made 41 of 60 field goals, 68 percent. Rachel Lamatsch scored 13 points with four assists. Avery Hurley (12) and Jennah Jeffrey (10) scored in double figures. Delaney Rugan had six steals and Addison Crites dished out four assists.

The No. 1 state-ranked Oilers (8-0, 2-0 CPL) has swept 92 consecutive basketball games and the past five 2A state titles.

CLAFLIN – Oiler Brett Liebl scored 17 points and Alex Hickel added 13 points as Central Plains rolled past Macksville 59-27 in Friday’s Central Prairie League basketball game.

The No. 1 ranked 1A Oilers (8-0, 2-0 CPL) have swept 34consecutive basketball games. Myles Menges added 12 points.

Macksville (5-3, 0-2 CPL) was led by Kody Mead with 12 points.
