ROZEL — Pawnee Heights QB Alec Carlson accounted for eight touchdown to ignite a 69-21 victory over Burrton in 6-man football. Burrton, outscored by an average score of 69-21, was outscored 69-21.
Carlson completed five touchdown passes — two to Adam Hands, two to Braden Colglazier and one to Dalen Rasmussen. He scored on 36- and 39-yard runs and caught a 20-yard touchdown pass from Colglazier.
Tiger Rebecca Winters achieved state history with a 3-yard touchdown run to become what is believed to be the first female to score a touchdown in Kansas high school football.

ELLSWORTH — Hoisington TB Legend Robinson scored two touchdowns and rushed for 235 yards to spark a hard-fought 21-13 football victory over Ellsworth in 2A, District 8. Hoisington (5-1, 3-0) overcame three turnovers with four takeaways to escape the upset bid. The Cardinals play Norton at home next week.
Wyatt Wikum opened the Cardinals' scoring on a 4-yard run. Legend Robinson converted 1- and 30-yard touchdowns. Ellsworth's Brad Vopat scored on a pair of 2-yard touchdown runs. Freshman sensation Jason Robinson intercepted a pass and recovered a fumble. Leyton Haxton intercepted a pass.

Lance Lickiss caught a 26-yard scoring pass and Alvaro Ibarra scored on a 29-yard touchdown reception. TB Hector Gomez scored on 3- and 53-yard runs. Rogelio Ibarra scored on a 19-yard run. Jason Cleveland scored on a fumble recovery. James Granger contributed four tackles and two assists. Gomez had three tackles for the Mustangs (2-4, 2-1).
St. John’s TB Caden McCandless rushed for 57 yards and had 27 yards receiving. Christopher Fernandez caught a 39-yard reception for the Tigers (0-6, 0-3).

ELLINWOOD — Down 26-0, Ellinwood rallied with two touchdowns before losing 54-14 to Oakley in 1A, District 3 football. QB Drew Heinz scored on a 1-yard run and completed a 45-yard scoring strike to Colby Zink. The Eagles regained possession down 26-14, but were unable to score.
Oakley's Jackson Pfeifer started the game with a 85-yard kickoff return and followed with 24- and 30-yard touchdown runs. Landyn Plummer scored on 7- and 80-yard runs and gained 158 yards.
Oakley (1-5, 1-4) won its first game against Ellinwood (1-4, 1-2), which broke a 20-game losing streak last week.

Stafford's Colson Minks intercepted two passes and Gantz and Dominguez each intercepted one pass. Ashton Harter recovered a fumble. Tarrant Young contributed six tackles and an assist for Stafford (3-3).
South Haven's Alex Smith and Grady Howell combined to pass for 298 yards with Tucker Locke, Ethan Theurer and Howell scoring touchdowns for the Trojans (0-6).
