CENTRAL PLAINS (7-0, 4-0) at MACKSVILLE (4-3, 3-1)
The No. 1 ranked Central Plains Oilers have earned five consecutive shutouts. The Oilers are headed for a home playoff game against South Gray (3-4) with one more victory. A loss will send Macksville to Spearville (5-2) next week.
Oiler QB Myles Menges has thrown for 746 yards and 16 touchdowns. RB Alex Hickel (482, 10 TDs) helps the Oilers average 178 yards per game. WR Jerred Bieberle has 222 yards and five scores. Grant Heldstab averages 12 tackles per game and Mason Doll nine tackles. Menges and Devin Ryan each have three interceptions.
Macksville QB Kody Mead has thrown for 1,190 yards, 23 TDs and 170 yards per game. RB Skyler Evans (446 yards, 3 TDs); WR Karson Waters (46-702, 16 TDs). Harley Blaske and Waters each have three interceptions.
NORTON (3-3, 3-1) at HOISINGTON (5-2, 3-1)
A home playoff game goes to the winner.
Hoisington TB Wyatt Pedigo has rushed for 1,279 yards and averages 213 yards per game. Braxton Donovan and Xavier Robinson compliment Pedigo’s extra effort.
Norton QB Kade Melvin has passed for 1,105 yards, 9 TDs and rushed for 465 yards and six TDs to help the Bluejays average 158 yards passing and 179 yards rushing. WR Hayden Wiltfong (345-4 TDs) leads the receivers.
OTIS-BISON (5-11, 5-0) at INGALLS (3-4, 3-2)
The Oilers will play Pretty Prairie (3-4) in the first round of the playoffs. Cougar QB Anton Foust has 443 yards passing, 13 TDs and 713 yards rushing and 11 TDs. FB Bevan Gradig has gained 393 yards and averages seven tackles per game. Seth Hoopingarner averages four tackles per game with five TDs receiving.
SATANTA (4-4, 2-2 at STAFFORD (5-2, 4-1)
Stafford has clinched a home playoff game against South Haven after a 0-5 playoff record. QB Justice Manning has passed for 334 yards and seven scores and rushed for 464 yards and 14 TDs. RB Tai Hildenbrand (281 yards), RB Caleb Hildebrand (392 yards, 11 TDs) lead the rushing game.
PAWNEE HEIGHTS (6-1, 3-1) at ROLLA (1-6, 1-3)
In 6-Man South, Tiger Player of the Year Kade Scott has rushed for 1,586 yards and 25 touchdowns with a 264-yard per game average. QB Trace Baker has thrown for 224 yards and five scores. Scott has 237 yards receiving and five scores. Scott averages 13 tackles per game and Baker eight stops per game.
KINGMAN (2-5, 1-3) at LARNED (0-7, 0-4)
A Larned upset will qualify Nickerson for the 3A playoffs. RB Brock Skelton had a 45-yard run and caught a 35-yard pass from QB Dillan Smith, who passed for 113 yards. RB Jacob Smith scored a touchdown against Hugoton.
CIMARRON (6-1, 4-0) at ELLINWOOD (3-4, 1-3)
District champion Cimaron has rolled to four dominating wins behind TB Tate Seabolt (1,028 yards, 12 TDs) and RV Anthony Erives (693 yards, 7 TDs). Ellinwood misses the football playoffs for the 14th consecutive season. Ellinwood RB Kody Koetter (640 yards, 9 TDS), RB-WR David Hammeke (195 rushing, 280 receiving) and WB Ryan Niles (141 rushing, 116 receiving) lead the offense. QB Kyler Doll has thrown for 508 yards and five scores.
