NESS CITY – Central Plains Oiler Hannah Redetzke earned eighth-medalist honors (22:35.7) at Thursday’s Ness City Invitational cross country meet. Scott City (19) won the girls division. Trego’s Sybil Giefer (19:32.0) earned medalist honors.

Scott City’s boys (35) beat Hoisington (54) for first place. Trego’s Wyndom Giefer earned medalist honors (16:36.6) to give the Giefer family a sweep. Dayne Yott led Hoisington with a 12th-place finish (18:37.3) and Kater Wolf placed 16th (18;44.6).
