The sixth-grade Barton Blazers defeated the Colby Eagles, Epic Hoops (Colorado), Hays Hawks and DC Flight before being outscored 48-43 by High Plains Basketball Academy in the championship game, placing the Blazers second at the 12-team sixth-grade division of the Hays City Little Shootout MAYB competition this past weekend.
