The Great Bend Bombers 14-and-under baseball team wins the Pratt Tournament.

GREAT BEND BOMBERS 5, BUHLER NATIONALS 1 (1ST PLACE) – The Bombers completed a 3-game winning streak to capture the Pratt Tournament Sunday.

The Bombers snapped a 1-1 tie with a game-winning 4-run sixth inning off three walks, a misplayed bunt, a wild pitch and a Buhler error. 

Kellen Cell and Kellan Chansler scored on an error after Brayden Herrman's sacrifice bunt was misplayed. Koby Council scored on a double steal. Herrman scored on a wild pitch. 

Bryce Burton scored a first-inning wild pitch. Pitcher Gavin Wondra struck out four batters in a 69-pitch, 6-inning effort.

BOMBERS 4, HAYS WOLFPACK 2 (G4, SEMIFINAL) – The Bombers rallied for three fifth-inning runs to shock the Hays Wolfpack 4-2 behind clutch pitching by Chansler and Jamison Stoney, who recorded the final four outs for a save. 

Kade Thexton scored on Chansler's single to ignite a 4-run rally. Cell scored on Brayden Herrman's perfectly executed bunt. Gavin Wondra's single scored Chansler. Herrman scored on Burton's sacrifice fly for a 4-1 lead.

BOMBERS 12, MCPHERSON WHITE 2 (G3) – The Bombers crushed McPherson White in back-to-back games. Thexton led the offense with a double and a trio of runs batted home. Crawford Kaiser, Council, Cell and Wondra drove in runs.

BOMBERS 9, MCPHERSON WHITE 2 (G2) – The Bombers' Burton led a 9-run outburst with a trio of RBI. Dreiling added a pair of RBI. 

The Bombers roughed up McPherson pitching for six runs in the first two innings. Wondra scored on a first-inning error and Dreiling scored on Council's double for a 2-0 lead.

Kristen Bustamante scored on Wondra's single to ignite a 4-run second inning. Bryce Burton tripled home Wondra. Burton scored on Dreiling's single. Thexton tripled home Dreiling for a 6-1 lead. 

Burton's triple scored Stoney and Wondra to ignite a 3-run fourth inning. Burton scored on Dreiling's sacrifice fly. 

PRATT 6, BOMBERS 5 (G1) – The Bombers' last-inning 3-run rally ended when Kellan Chansler bunted into a game-ending double play with the bases loaded. Carter Dreiling was out at home.

Gavin Wondra scored on an error. Bryce Burton scored on a bases-loaded walk. Christian Alcala scored on a Crawford Kaiser single for a 6-5 score with no out. The Bombers' hottest hitter Cell struck out prior to the double play.

Kaiser scored on Cell's second-inning single. Kaiser also scored on Cell's fifth-inning single at the Pratt Tournament. 

GREAT BEND BOMBERS 10, BUHLER NATIONALS 3 — The Great Bend Bombers dominated the Buhler Nationals 10-3 prior to the Great Bend Bat Cats baseball game Wednesday at Al Burns Memorial Field. 

Brayden Herrman drove home two runs. Christian Alcala, Carter Dreiling, K.J. Cell, Baylan Jenkinson also drove in runs.

The Bombers took advantage of eight walks and four errors to score three unearned runs.
