HOLCOMB GIRLS 44, LARNED 35 (1ST) — State-ranked Holcomb outscored Larned 16-6 in the fourth quarter for a 44-35 Keady Classic championship over the Indians. The Indians converted 2 of 9 field goals in the fourth quarter and 6 of 23 after halftime.

Holcomb's Jaylee Wickwar scored 17 points and Delilah Galliart scored 15 points. Larned's Jadyn Crosby (14) and Lauren Sleder (10) scored in double figures.

It was a battle of two teams that take pride in their defense. 

For the second year in a row, Holcomb defeated Larned for first place. Oddly, the score in both championship games, 2024 and 2025 was 44-35.

Larned's Jadyn Crosby scored 21 points. Bucklin's Emmerson Kirk scored 16 points.

Bucklin's Karlee Evans forced overtime with five points for a 39-39 tie. Brooke Simmons and Crosby scored two points in overtime.
