Cardinals second on tiebreaker

PRATT — Hoisington’s Ava Henry (51) tied for fourth and the Cardinals (221) lost a tiebreaker to Pratt for first place at Monday’s Pratt Golf Inviational at Park Hills Country Club. Pratt’s Sage Kohman (61) won the tiebreaker with Cardinal Ally Karst (67). 

Top 10 area finishers were Larned’s fourth-place Jocelyn Clawson, 51; Hoisington’s sixth-place Tricia Schremmer (52) and Larned’s Maddie McMurphy (52); and Larned’s 10th-place Alaura Crockett-Armijo (56).

Nickerson Panther MaKenna Dodson (44) placed first, one shot ahead of Pratt’s Avery Blasi in 96-degree heat with southwest winds gusting to 30 mph.
