SALINA— Great Bend’s Steve Courson threw in the Kansas Horseshoe Pitchers Association’s annual State Tournament Saturday and Sunday at Salina’s Sunset Park. Courson posted an 8-1 record in two days of throwing to win his division. Courson has thrown at World Tournaments in Iowa, Oklahoma and Utah and placed third in his division at the 2015 World Tournament in Topeka in July.
