ELLINWOOD – Ellinwood’s volleyball team defeated St. John 25-16, 25-11 to capture the Eagles’ seventh consecutive Central Prairie League championship. Ellinwood (28-7, 8-0 CPL) also captured the Central Prairie League regular-season championship.

The Eagles downed La Crosse 25-18, 25-18 and Central Plains 25-10, 25-15 and Ness City 25-22, 26-24 in bracket play.
