ELLSWORTH – The Ellinwood Eagles held off runner-up Ellsworth 25-23, 25-17 to capture the Ellsworth volleyball championship with a 5-0 record. The Eagles also defeated Nickerson 25-15, 25-19, Central Plains 25-9, 25-9, Salina Sacred Heart 25-18, 25-22 and Republic County 25-17 25-5.
