Ellinwood’s Koy Behnke signs a letter of intent to run track at Cloud County Community College. Cloud Co. signee Koy Behnke (middle) joins his father Matt Behnke; Andrew Gower, Ellinwood track coach; his mother Lindsay Behnke; his sister Kennedy Behnke; and his brother Kellan Behnke. He qualified in 800 meters, 400-meter relay, 1,600-meter relay and 3,200-meter relay last year. Behnke is running the 100, 200, 400 and 400-meter relay in 2023. Behnke earned first team All-Central Prairie League basketball honors as a three-year starter for a 3-time CPL basketball champion.
