Ellinwood’s Heinz competes

LEAWOOD – Ellinwood’s 2A state runner-up Drew Heinz shot back-to-back rounds of 11-over-par 83 for a 166 total that missed the 36-hole cut in the 2022 Kansas Amateur Golf Championship at Ironwood Golf Club.

Heinz birdied Nos. 13 and 18 in Monday’s round. Heinz missed the final round by one stroke June 14.
